This CC41 ditsy floral day dress is utterly charming and is an iconic piece of the 1940's.
Made from lightweight crepe it has the prettiest print in pink, purple, lavender and white on a black base.
The bodice has covered buttons, (which are decorative only - the bodice fastens with black poppers), a dropped yoke with piped edges, a neat little collar, covered buttons and teeny gathers. The sleeves have neat gathers and deep cuffs which are piped to match the dropped yoke. The skirt is skimming and very simple and there is a back belt which fastens with poppers.
