This beautiful dress was made in the 1940's from lightweight crepe with a grey base and charming floral print in pink, white and charcoal grey. The fabric is so light and floaty and the garment weighs just 200g.
It features a cross-over bodice, which fastens with a single popper, has three quarter length sleeves, a pleated skirt and fastens on the left side with a metal zip.
A home sewn piece it has been constructed using a mixture of hand and machine sewing.
