This stylish piece was made in the 1940's 

A rich shade of burgundy it has a fine herringbone to the weave. A neat, fitted design it has shoulder pads to give the iconic shape of the era, pockets and is trimmed with cotton velvet in a similar shade. The trim on the bust which looks like pocket flaps is decorative only. Fully lined with satin it is single breasted and buttons down the front with 4 plastic buttons and it has buttons at the sleeve ends.

 

Measurements

This will best fit up to a 34" bust as the mannequin is a 35" bust and is a little snug if you intend to wear anything underneath. The measurements have been taken on the outside and the wool is quite thick.

Flat waist 15" (best for a 28" waist)

Underarm sleeve length 16"

 

Condition

Very good, just shows the slightest signs of wear. No faults to note.
