Charming 1920's 1930's bag in dull purple rough silk with inky black flock detailing.
Fully lined in cream cotton with a floral design in red and pink it has a wooden frame and closes with a metal flip up clasp. The handle is made from velvet but seems quite lightweight compared to the rest of the bag so might be a replacement.
Truly beautiful piece in a wonderful shade.

Good with the following points to note;
- two small darns on one side of the bag
- tarnish on the clasp
- a few small light spots on the same side as the darns
- frame has some scuffs and wear around the clasp area
- slight uneven colour to the frame from use
- wear to the fabric at the top of the bag where it is attached to the frame, see photo
