This gorgeous 1930’s redingote is made from heavy satin backed crepe.
It has beautiful tailoring with a seamed back, which goes into a point just below the waist, pure silk collar and cuffs and the most wonderful embroidery on the front in a foliate pattern.
It is half lined, has covered buttons and an inner belt which is there to prevent the dress from being stretched.
The piece opens right down the front like a coat with a mix of poppers and covered buttons.
