This piece was made in the 1930's or early 1940's.
A classic shape of the era it has a deep crown and is designed to sit low on your head, tilted to the right side. It has a wide brim, which lifts in the back, and is trimmed with a broad grosgrain band and silky black feathers.

Very good. Only point to note is discolouration to the inner front band.
