This wonderful piece was made in the late 1930's.

Made from crepe in a rich ochre it is a slim fitting edge to edge design. Featuring long, slim fitting sleeves it has the most beautiful trapunto quilting down both bodice fronts and on the back of the neck.

 

Measurements

The jacket will best fit up to a 34" bust but no bigger. To ensure it will fit you properly please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own;

Flat bust 17"

Flat waist 13.5"

Shoulders between sleeves 12"

Underarm sleeve length 17.5"

Condition

Structurally very good with only a 1cm darn on the right sleeve. However, please note that there is general overall discolouration which is visible in some lights and a purple area of discolouration to the front right on the trapunto. The jacket has been soaked and the marks didn't come out. Still a charming piece and priced to reflect the issues.
