This is a neat little piece. Made from brown leather it has a single snap fastener and is embossed with a pair of tennis rackets.
Made in the 1930's this "Peggie Purse" would have originally been used to carry coins, often used for school dinner money.
It is the perfect size for a bank card when you're out and about and don't fancy taking a handbag.
Measurements
Width 4"
Height 2 3/4"
Strap length from top 19"
Condition
Good with some points to note;
- some tarnish on the popper, although it still fastens well
- a small break in the leather whether the strap meets the bag, but it is on the back so isn't seen and causes no issues
