This is an absolutely glorious piece!
Made in the 1930's or 1940's the base is dark blue felt which has a slight fleck in it. The front is heavily appliqued with a basket full of vibrant flowers. The inner is lined and there are two small pockets on the inner, one on either side.
The work that must have gone into this piece is exceptional.
