This pretty little bag was made in the 1930's.
Most likely a homemade piece it features a stiffened oval base with black and gold lame, with a leaf design woven into the fabric, on the outer and cerise pink satin lining.
A perfect little bag for an evening out.

The stiffened base is 6 1/2" long and 4" wide
Height 7"
Condition
Good with the following points to note;
- there is some very minor wear to lame in places where the gold is a little duller
- the lining on the base is pale pink and there has been colour transfer from the bright silk, but this isn't seen when in use
