This opera coat is divine and has such a beautiful collar detail with the right side sweeping across the neck and fastening on the left shoulder. The photos don't do it justice and the details are much prettier in real life. The sleeve detail is fabulous but I just can't get it to show properly.
Measurements
It isn't meant to be close fitting and has no real structure from the shoulders down. It will fit a 40"/42" bust but to ensure it will fit you properly please compare the measurements below to a similar garment you already own and note that the shoulders are narrow.

Condition
Please note this piece was originally much smaller but a previous owner has very cleverly unpicked the sleeves and side seams and added inserts to make it the size it is now. It has been really well executed and I didn't realise it had been altered until I turned it inside out and saw the different lining and modern finishing.
- the buttons on the neckline, which are the originals, are different to the ones down the front of the piece
- there is a 1" repair in the lining on the waist area
