This adorable hat was made in the late 1920s or early 1930s.
Made from warm brown felt it is a close fitting design which hugs the head and is meant to be worn tilted over the right ear. The pleated brim is decorated with a fine brown net and the hat is trimmed with chocolate brown grosgrain ribbon and feathers in autumnal shades.

Condition
Very good with three minor points to note;
- the feathers are a little raggy on the ends
- on close inspection there are a few small breaks in the net
- the grosgrain band on the inner is discoloured in places but this isn't seen when worn
