This fabulous hat was made in the 1930's.
Made from dark blue, almost black, fine straw it has a very shallow crown and a wonderfully shaped brim which is lifted on the left side. It is trimmed with a navy grosgrain band around the brim and has a matching trim on the underside of the lifted left brim.
The perfect finishing touch to your vintage outfit.

Good with the following minor points to note;
- there is some discolouration on the inner front band - most likely make-up
- there is a small rectangular mark on the inner crown, maybe from a label, but it is faint
