This beautiful dress was made in the 1930's and was most likely a home-sewn piece made to a high standard. It is made from medium weight wool and is a simple, yet stylish piece.

A slim fitting bodice with button neck and a little bow, it has close fitting sleeves and a figure skimming skirt with a little back pleat. It fastens down the left side with a zip.

Condition

Very good, just a couple of points to note;

- belt loop but no belt

- two small plucks in the front
