This beautiful hat was made in the late 1930's and is a classic example of the era.
Made from ivory coloured felt and labelled 'Dobbs Fifth Avenue NY, Sakowitz Bros , Houston, Tex' it is designed to sit tilted on the right side of your head and the brim can be worn up or down. Trimmed with a band of black grosgrain, it is the perfect finishing touch to your vintage outfit.

Condition
Good with some minor points to note;
- one pinhead dark mark on the top of the crown
- a faint 5mm orange mark on the brim
- a single 3mm moth graze to the surface nap on the underside of the brim
- there is some light discolouration over the whole piece, as happens with the paler hats, but because it is even it isn't as noticeable
