These utterly fabulous trousers were made in the 1930's, and if you scroll to the final picture you'll see a photograph of the original owner wearing them.
Labelled Kenilworth Sports-Togs, Cravanette Showerproofed, they are made from forest green corduroy and are fully lined with brushed cotton, making them fabulously cosy for the colder months.
They have woollen elasticated ankles and fasten on both sides with three brown buttons. Better still, they have pockets!
A wonderful pair of trousers in a fabulous colour and style.
Measurements
They will fit up to a 30"/32" waist, depending on what you are planning to tuck into them. The buttons could be moved to make them a little smaller, but they will not go any bigger. To ensure they will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar pair you already own and please note all measurements have been taken on the outside of the trousers.
Flat waist 16.5"
Flat hip 20"
Inner leg 27.5” from crotch to bottom of elastic
Outer leg 38.5" from top waist to bottom of elastic
Condition
Good with the following points to note;
- there are a few light marks in the lower leg, see photo, but really only seen on close inspection
- main issue is that the knitted woollen rib section on the ankles has been heavily darned - please see photo to make sure you're happy with the level of darns in the ankles
