
This is a wonderful piece which is just perfect for the summer.
Made in the 1930's by Marshall & Snelgrove, it is made from crisp white linen.
Narrow shoulders, three quarter length sleeves with neat cuffs, patch pockets and an edge to edge design it is meant to be worn slightly oversized.
Measurements
This will fit up to a 40" bust if you have a narrow back. It is not meant to be close fitting and, as was the style at the time, it is meant to be worn oversized. To ensure it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own;
Flat bust taken across the back 21"
Shoulders between sleeves 15"
Underarm sleeve length 8.5"
Shoulder to hem 29.5"
Condition
Very good with just two minor points to note;
- there are 2 very faint marks on the front right of the jacket, It has been soaked twice and the stains treated but they didn't lift so they are there to stay
- there is an 8mm orange mark on the inner lapel of the left front, not seen when worn
Has been washed, pressed and is ready to wear.
