Offered for sale is a pretty little hat from the 1930's.
This is such a neat little piece. The body of the hat is midnight blue felt which is formed in a close fitting design that hugs the back of your head. It is trimmed with inky black cotton velvet in the front and has a little velvet stand-up detail. It is finished off perfectly metal beads arranged in clusters.

The hat is close fitting and sits low on your head.

Condition
Good with the following points to note;
- some of the metal beads have tarnished but that is only visible on close inspection
- the pile on the velvet at the very front has gone, obviously from rubbing against a forehead
- very, very minor makeup marks on the inner band
- the main issue is that the navy felt at the back is a bit rubbed, see photo
