This is an adorable little piece.
Although originally worn by a bride in the late 1930s, this piece would work well for an evening out or a ball.
It features a wired band which has been covered with crochet in a pretty pink shade and the thread has a lustre to it. There is a crochet snood attached to the band which has an elasticated "hem" to keep your hair neatly in place. The snood isn't big and will only really hold shoulder length hair, maximum.
Measurements
The band is metal and so expands and will fit up to a 22" head. Edge to edge along the inner curve measures 13.5" and the brim is 1.5" at the deepest point.
Condition
Very good, doubt it was worn more than a couple of times. Minor point to note;
