This is an utterly divine piece.

Made in the 1930s, this pure silk bias cut nightdress is so delightfully soft to the touch. A close fitting bodice which has a waist insert and tie back belt, it has shoulder tie straps and beautiful floral applique on the bust. The skirt section is long and figure hugging and the bias cut nature of the piece means it hugs your curves. 

It really is better in person than in the photos.

 

Measurements

Best suited for up to a 36" bust. The cut of the piece means it has a good amount of stretch so to make sure that this will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own;

Flat bust 15" stretching to 19"

Flat waist 14" stretching to 16"

Flat hips 17" stretching to 21"

Length 64" but this will decrease once a body is in the piece

 

Condition

Good with some minor points to note;

- a few marks in the skirt and one near the waist insert, just under the left bust

- right waist tie has been re-sewn in place a little haphazardly

- minor wear under the right arm
