This pretty piece was made in the 1940's.
Made from soft cotton, which looks a feels a lot like feed sack, it has a blue base with a bold floral print in grey, white and red.
Featuring a button front bodice and slim fitting skirt it is finished off perfectly with a neat white collar.
Please note that the final photograph shows the buttons that are now on the dress. When the dress was photographed for listing I hadn't noticed that the buttons were odd!
Measurements
This piece will best fit a 36-28-38 and please note that there is no side opening so you'll need to be able to get your bust through the waist size but to ensure that it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own;

Condition
Good with the following points to note;
- there is a 1/4" darn on the front bodice, near the waist
- a repair between the front bodice darts on the right side and a repair to one of the darts on the left
- some light colour run on the right bodice near one of the darts
- a belt loop on the right but not one on the left
- main point to note is that the dress has been altered at some point which has left some of the seams a bit chunky and others a little wobbly
Has been washed, pressed and is ready to wear.
