This pretty dress was made in the 1940's and carries the remains of a cut out CC41 label in the back neck.
Made from fine linen it has an off-white base with a pretty paisley and fan print worked in blue and magenta. The bodice is blouson and fastens with plastic buttons. It has a neat collar and small turn backs on the sleeves. The skirt is panelled with broad pleats in the front and the piece is finished off neatly with a belt.
