This fabulous hat was made in America in the 1940's and is labelled 'Arnold Constable & Co New York Creation'.

Made from dark brown felt is has a rounded, close fitting crown and a broad sweeping brim which is shallower in the back than the front. It is trimmed with a felt bow, where the brim and crown meet, and the wired brim is trimmed with a soft band of genuine fur.

The label states that the hat will fit a 22" head but to ensure that it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own;

Condition

Very good, just shows minor wear and some slight discolouration on the inner band, which isn't seen when worn.
