This fabulous dress was made in the 1940's and is labelled 'Gilerac Gowns'.
Made from dark brown crepe it has a close fitting bodice with gathers at the yoke. Featuring three quarter length sleeves it has a pleated skirt with accent trim in horizontal lines. With a metal side zip and poppers at the back neck, it is finished off perfectly with a tie back belt.

The dress will best fit a 36-28-40 but to ensure it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own;
Flat bust 18" in the back and 19" in the front due to the fullness of the pleats

Shoulder to hem 46.5" with 1" hem allowance - dropping the hem might show

Condition
Very good. Only point to note are two self marks on the back bodice.
