This is a fabulous coat and so stylish.
Made in the 1940's and labelled Jancourt Model, this fur faux coat has a bold leopard print.
A loose fitting design it has broad shoulders, deep cuff turn ups, a neat collar and fastens with a single oversized button at the neck.
Would look great belted.
Measurements
Because of the design, this piece will fit a variety of sizes up to a 42" bust. It is shown on a 35" mannequin and looks good oversized. However, to ensure you're going to be happy with the fit, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own and note that the measurements have been taken on the outside and this is a fluffy garment with a lot of outer bulk.
Flat bust 23.5"
Shoulders between sleeves 15.5"
Underarm sleeve length 15" to 17" depending on how much cuff you decide to turn
Length 43.5"
Condition
Good with some minor points to note;
- there is a 1/2cm bald patch on the collar edge
- some scuffs and few small holes in the body of the lining
- some underarm lining has had hand sewn repairs
- minor signs of wear
