This exceptionally beautiful hat was made in the 1940's.

Featuring a base of grosgrain and net it is entirely covered with fabric flowers in glorious pastel shades. The back has a wide strap which helps to keep the piece in place and the hat is finished off perfectly with a large grosgrain bow with huge ribbon points which hang down over your hair.


Measurements

Due to the design, the hat will fit up to a 22" head.

The main fabric covered disc is 5.5" wide and 7" deep

The tails of the bow are 4" wide and 9" long on the longest edge

 

Condition

Good with some minor points to note;

- some minor wear to some flowers

- discolouration on the inner band - see photo - but this isn't visible when worn
