This gorgeous dress was made in the 1940's and is labelled Lafeyette.
Made from inky black crepe the dress is bias cut which gives a great close fit. It has double straps, a ruched front and is trimmed with black sequins around the front neckline and down the bodice. It fastens down the left side with poppers.
A truly fabulous dress which is perfect for an evening dance.
Measurements
The dress is bias cut giving it a lot of stretch and so will fit up to a 38-30-40 but also works on smaller. To ensure that it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own;
Flat bust 18" stretching to 19"
Flat waist 14" stretching to 15"
Flat hip stretches to maximum 22"
Length 58" but due it being bias cut the length with decrease when the dress is stretched in wear
Condition
Very good, only point to note is some slightly wibbly seams.
