This fabulous hat was made in the 1940's.
Made from inky black felt, when the hat isn't being worn it is completely flat. When placed on a head the back section of the hat stands up, giving great height to the piece. It has a broad felt band which goes around the back of your head to help keep the hat in place and it is trimmed with a neat little trio of fluffy pom-poms.
