This exceptionally beautiful coat was made in the late 1940's and is labelled Pober of New York.
Made from smooth weave wool it is fully lined with thick black satin. The tailoring and quality of this piece are fabulous.
A fit and flair piece it has a smooth fitted upper and a wonderfully full, deeply pleated skirt section. The buttons on the front are all self covered. The top seven all fasten, the bottom four are decorative.
An incredibly heavy piece it is a perfect coat for winter and, weighing in at over 2kg, will be sure to keep you warm in the colder months!

Condition
Very good, just a couple of minor points to note;
- there is the smallest amount of storage odour - I am confident this will air - there is no smell of moth balls, just the smell of a coat which has been in storage for years
- both the underarm lining seams have been re-sewn
