This wonderful skirt was made in the 1940's and is labelled 'Styled and Produced by Howland PERFECT IN EVERY DETAIL'.
Made from medium weight tweed in brown with a white fleck, and a very occasional spot of blue, it is a close fitting piece, smooth in the back and pleated in the front. It has a teeny pocket on the front right hip and fastens on the left side with a metal zip. It is unlined.
A classic skirt of the time which is a great wardrobe staple.
Please note the colour of the skirt is truest in the photo that shows the label.
