This classic coat was made in the 1940's.
Made from lightweight burgundy wool it is a fabulously tailored piece with broad shoulders, smart collar with wide lapels, is fully lined with heavy satin, fastens with four chunky buttons and has pockets!
A great addition to a vintage lover's wardrobe.
Measurements
The coat will fit up to a 40-36-42 with thin clothing, but if you want to layer up then you'll need to be smaller than these measurements. To ensure that it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own;

Shoulders between sleeves 16"
Underarm sleeve length 16.5" with about 1.5" that could be let down, but it will show

Condition
Good with the following points to note;
- when held up to the light there are a few small pinholes in the skirt section of the coat but these are not seen in wear
- there is some very light overall fade which is only seen when you lift the lapels
- there are a few small darns on the bottom of the coat, but these are only seen on close inspection and are more felt in the weave than anything
- some scuffs to the lining
