Lovely pair of original 1940s black leather shoes. These are very much 1930s in style, but they were definitely made in the 1940s as they carry the CC41 stamp.
Made from lovely supple glace leather, they have a small heel, which makes them very practical for everyday wear, and they have a large grosgrain front bow.
Best for a UK size 7 or 7.5 but to ensure that they will fit you please compare the measurements below to a similar pair you already own;
Inner length 10 3/“4 - but this is right into the toe so you'll need to measure less than this
Width 3 1/4”
Middle heel height 1 1/2”
Structurally good and they are strong and have lots of life left in them but there are a few points to note;
- inners grubby
- leather crumpled, although once your foot is in them most of the crumples go
- the ribbon edging to the shoe opening is missing in places and scruffy in others
