These stunning shoes were made in the 1940's and carry the CC41 stamp on the sole.
Stamped Burlington's on the inner, they are made from wonderfully soft mid brown leather. A smart pointed toe and low heel, they are a classic pair of shoes from the early 1940's which are finished off perfectly with a black metal buckle trim.
Purchased from the family of the original owner, these shoes were worn by a bride when she was married in the 1940's.
Measurements
The shoes are stamped as a size 4. To ensure they will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar pair you already own;
Inner length 9 1/4" but this is right into the point of the toe, so more like a 9" length
Widest point of sole 3"
Vamp 5.5"
Heel 1 3/4"
Condition
Very good with the following points to note;
- the inner lining is coming away from the outer on the right shoe - see photo - doesn't cause an issue with wear
- there are a few minor scuffs on the heels
- light wear to the soles
