This beautiful dress was made in the 1940's and carries the CC41 label in the back neck.
A pretty frock, it features long sleeves with darted sleeve heads, a pleated crossover bodice with a deep v-neck opening, the skirt has gathered inserts just below hip level and it is finished off perfectly with a long belt that you can tie into a bow. The fabric is fine crepe, with a slight shine, and the print has a raised floral design.
A timeless classic, it is a great addition to a vintage lover's wardrobe.
This dress has no side opening so you'll need to be able to fit your bust through the flat waist. The piece will best fit up to a 40-35-44 but to ensure it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own;
Flat bust 21"
Flat waist 18.5"
Flat hip 23"
Shoulders between sleeves 15"
Underarm sleeve length 19"
Shoulder to waist 16"
Shoulder to hem 43.5"
Good with some points to note;
- there are a few small darns - two on the sleeve, one in the bodice, four in the front skirt
- minor underarm wear
- very slight seam stress on the darts
Still presents really well and is a wonderful piece.
