This is an utterly exceptional suit.
Made in the 1940's and labelled "Star Frocks of Regent Street" it has the coveted CC41 label and still has the original paper shop tag.
Wonderful tailoring with broad shoulders and shoulder pads, a nipped in waist, back belt, covered buttons and a panelled skirt. It is made from linen in navy blue and is a beautiful example of a wartime summer suit.
