This fabulously vibrant blouse was made in the 1940's and is labelled 'SPORTSWEAR'.
Made from floppy rayon it has a base shade of mottled pink and a bold design worked in black, red, green and white. It fastens with green plastic anchor buttons, has a patch pocket and is finished off perfectly with a neat collar.
The buttons go in the opposite direction for a woman, and it appears to have been altered at some point, so I'm assuming the previous owner has turned it into a blouse.
