This is a great piece and it is just perfect for summer!
Made in the 1940's and labelled "Peter Robinson Ltd" it is made from very dark blue, which looks black in some lights, lacquered straw.
It features a neat crown, which is slightly dipped on one side, and has a large sweeping brim which is trimmed with a grosgrain band and net covered wire "flowers".

Condition
Very good, the straw is in wonderful condition. Only minor points to note;
- some marks on the inner band
- the wire "flowers" look a little squished in places
