This beautiful coat was made in the 1940's. It features some wonderful tailoring including a darted bodice, large pleated patch pockets and a back belt.
Made from medium weight wool it is lined with light brown artificial satin.
A fabulous addition to your vintage wardrobe.
This piece will best fit up to a 40-32-42 depending on what you wear underneath it.
Please note all measurements have been taken on the outside of the coat so to ensure it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own;
Flat bust 21"
Flat waist 17"
Flat hip 23"
Shoulders between sleeves 16"
Underarm sleeve length 17"
Shoulder to waist 16"
Shoulder to hem 44"
Good but it is a little tired and has some points to note;
- there are some small scuffs to the fabric - one between the second and third buttons, five on the skirt section and two on the left sleeve
- there are two darns on the shoulder of the left sleeve
- some slight discolouration on the collar, right back as you're wearing it
- general wear
It is still a great piece, very stylish and a great go to coat.
