Such a fabulous wardrobe staple!
This jacket was made in the 1940's from tweed in green, grey and black.
A beautifully tailored piece it features neat lapels, smart turn back cuffs, five button front closure and has pockets. It is fully lined.
Measurements
Jackets are so tricky to measure but this is shown on a 35" mannequin and is a little loose. The below measurements have been taken on the outside of the jacket so please bear this in mind and compare my measurements to a similar item in your collection;
Flat bust 19" across the back and 21" in the front
Flat waist 16"
Shoulders between sleeves 15.5"
Neck to hem 23.5"
Underarm sleeve length 17"
Condition
Good and presents really well but there are some minor points to note;
- there is discolouration on the lining, as can be seen in the photos, but the lining is in good order structurally
- there are two small darns on the front left just by the pocket
