This gorgeous dress was made in the 1940's and is so much better in real life than the photos show - as so often happens with black dresses.
Made from inky black crepe the dress features a neat fitted bodice, three quarter length sleeves and a front drape. The yoke is mesh covered with stripes of crepe and a neat little bow - the sleeve ends and edge of the drape have the same mesh decoration.
