This stunning piece was made in the 1940's and carries the Kay Carter label in the back neck.
Made from black crepe, which has a beautiful drape, it is a gorgeous piece which is much better in person than in the photos - as so often happens with black garments.
A smooth fitting bodice with three quarter length sleeves, it has a sweetheart neckline and a hip skimming skirt featuring a front peplum. There is a zip on the back neck and another on the left side and the dress is finished off perfectly with a divine studded floral spray worked in green, pink and silver.
