This stunning hat was made in the late 1930's or early 1940's.
A tilt design in lavender blue felt it has a smart upturned brim which has a wired frame and is edged with grosgrain. There is a neat crossover in the back and a sweet little grosgrain bow. The crown is decorated with a large cluster of powder blue feathers and there is a dark blue net which runs over the top of the crown. To help keep the hat in place there is a felt band with open worn and smock detail.
A truly divine hat.

Due to the tilt design, and the fact that it isn't meant to sit fully on your head, it will work on up to a 23" head.

Condition
Beautiful condition, minor points to note;
- there is some minor discolouration on the inner front band
- some of the feathers are a little bent
- a couple of small breaks in the net when you unfold it
