This fabulous robe was made in the 1940's.
Made from artificial silk it has a vibrant print of large bows in purple, yellow, pink and blue.
Featuring long sleeves with turn back cuffs, a scalloped collar and a pointed patch pocket it is cinched in with a thin belt.
A really pretty piece in a great print.

Condition
Good with the following minor points to note;
- there is a small tear behind the pocket
- the belt has clearly been made from cutting some length of the hem - functional but not pretty!
- a small 2" line repair on the top of the left sleeve
- on the hem of the piece, the name of the fabric has been printed on with what appears to be gold paint - the painted area has gone into small holes in a few places but this is only seen when the piece is held up to the light
