This is a fabulous summer hat in a hard to find shade.
Made in the late 1940s or early 1950s, it is made from soft yellow lacquered straw. It has a wired brim which is shaped to be wavy and a shallow crown which is decorated with fabric flowers in green and off-white, and has a velvet bow in the back.
On the inner there is a covered wire frame which has little "hooks" that give a bit of hug to your head to help keep the hat in place.

Because this design is meant to sit on the top of your head and will fit up to a 22" head.

Condition
Very good with some minor points to note;
- the covered wire band on the inner shows a lot of wear and the wire is visible in a few places, but the band still does it's job and isn't seen when worn
- there are a few small marks on the straw at the front of the hat
