This classic little black dress is gorgeous and the photos really don't do it justice.

Made in the 1950's in Budapest it is made from fine wool which is smooth to the touch. A wiggle design the waist is very fitted and the dress has been beautifully made. With a close fitting darted bodice, pleated skirt, inset back zip and a wonderful beading, the piece is finished off perfectly with a large bow on the left front hip.

Condition

Very good with the following minor points to note;

  • on close inspection I spotted about 4 missing beads but these are only seen on close inspection
  • when held up to the light there is a pinhead hole near the hem
