This charming hat was made in the 1950's and is labelled Grace Ann Yost.

The hat features a satin covered wired frame and the body of the piece is made from stiffened mesh. The hat is covered in soutache made from fabric covered Nylon thread and the hat is finished off perfectly with a soft green velvet ribbon.

 

Measurements

Will work on up to a 22" head

Width from side to side 13.5"

Front to back 8.5"

Bow is 3/4" x 7 1/2"

 

Condition

Very good, only minor point to note is some light discolouration on the bow.
