This neat little hat was made in the late 1950's or early 1960's and is labelled FINLEY NEW YORK.
Made from yellow boucle fabric it is a bit like a beret and has a small stiffened peak in the front to help the piece have a bit of shape. Fully lined it is finished off with a grosgrain bow and covered button trim on the left side.
Perfect finishing touch to your vintage outfit.
Measurements
The inner band is 20.5", but as the hat only sits on the top of your head it will work on up to a 21" head.
9" side to side when laid flat and the same front to back
Condition
Good with the following points to note;
- makeup mark on the inner front where it touches the forehead
- slight perfume odour, but this will dissipate
- in some lights, there are some faint orange marks in the texture of the fabric
