This fabulous coat was made in the 1950's and is an Alligator branded piece.
Labelled 'All Wool Gaberdine' it comes in a dark chartreuse. Featuring a dropped yoke on the front and back, spear-point collar, two-tone buttons and smart pockets it is a great lightweight coat.
Fully lined it would have originally have a had a hood as there are buttons sitting underneath the collar.

Condition
Good with some points to note;
- there are some small darns - they have been incredibly well done and the thread match is spot on - see photos
- there is a spot on the front of the coat, left side near the hem, which someone has tried to spot clean and caused a bit of lightening to the fabric surrounding the mark
- looks to have slight discolouration in certain lights. The discolouration is fairly even - it could be that it is a grubby and needs a wash
- has a few small spots
