This incredible dress was made in the 1950's and is labelled Ann Foster.
It looks great worn either way around so you have one dress that offers two looks!
If worn with the buttons down the back, the front is ruched with a V neckline and little turn-back collar edges. The piece has neat sleeves and a pleated skirt and is made from cotton in a fabulous atomic print featuring apples.
This will fit up to a 35" bust maximum but to make sure that this will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own;
Flat bust 18"
Flat waist 13"
Shoulders between sleeves 15"
Underarm sleeve length 8"
Flat cuff 5"
Shoulder to waist 16"
Shoulder to hem 44.5"
Good with some points to note;
- there is a repair to the top buttonhole but this is mostly hidden by the button
- three faint yellow marks, about 2" wide, mostly lost within the front
- a few small marks
Has been washed, pressed and ready to wear.
