Made in the 1950's from artificial silk, this pretty button back blouse is perfect to slip on under a jacket.
A smart piece is has a smooth fitting front, short sleeves, button back and the front hem has a little scalloped detail which is trimmed with tiny bows - however, the blouse looks just as good tucked in.
A commercially made piece it doesn't have a maker's label but does have the size label 40.

Condition
Good with two points to note;
- there are darns and patches under every button. Someone clearly moved the buttons to make the blouse bigger and caused stress on the button area. None of the repairs or patches are seen when the blouse is worn as they are covered by the other side.
- there is the most minor underarm wear
